Content | Modelithics’ Model Libraries Modelithics’ libaries are easily accessible and parts can be used by drag and drop method into a Microwave Offi ce schematic. OVERVIEW With ready access to Modelithics’ Model Libraries, AWR customers are able to more confi dently and accurately complete their next design with highly scalable models that take pad parasitic, substrate effects, and more into account. Modelithics’ libraries include passive and active models that contain up-to-date, well documented, measurement-based models that are fully integrated within AWR’s Microwave Offi ce™ software. BREADTH OF MODELS Modelithics’ libraries contain part-value, pad-scalable and substrate-scalable models. Every model includes complete documentation detailing the test fi xtures used, measurement conditions, and model-to-measurement data comparisons. • Measurement-based: The model fi ts data measured under actual board design conditions. • Part-value scalable: Each model supports a full range of part values, allowing exact solution or discrete optimization. • Pad-scalable: The model allows pad geometry to be adjusted to match designers desired footprint. • Substrate-scalable: The model supports a wide range of substrate thickness and dielectric constants. With Modelithics’ libraries accessible from within the Microwave Offi ce environment, proper component selection is assured at the simulation stage and gets customers from concept to market faster by reducing bench-tuning and prototyping steps/ stages. What’s more, the models can be used for manufacturing yield estimation and design centering in Monte-Carlo statistical analyses.
