His drive and determination have been instrumental in Richmar s overall success and especially in Richmar s expansion throughout the Midwest. Richard Smego, President of Richmar, remembers phone calls from David asking if he could start making sales calls in Missouri and then Kansas, while still doing an outstanding job of servicing his regular ac- counts in the Chicago area. He was so successful in Missouri and Kansas that it was necessary for Richmar to open a new office to cover these areas on a full time basis. When one of David s Chi- cago customers was purchased and relocated to Michigan, wouldn t you know, David started making the trek from Chicago to Michigan to continue covering this customer. And. you guessed it, as long as he was in Michigan, David built the cus- tomer base there to the point where Richmar opened a dedi- cated Michigan sales office. David met his wife Kris while she was working at a principal of Richmar s and they are celebrat- ing their tenth wedding anniver- sary this year. Congratulations! When he s not racking up the miles at work, David enjoys many activities, including building and flying remote controlled air- planes, sailing, skiing, ice skat- ing, playing with their eight month old Golden Retriever Tucker and he especially enjoys motorcycling on rural country roads. A few years ago he found the time to design and oversee the construc- tion of the home where he, Kris and Tucker now live. While Kris enjoys many of the same activities as David, she refuses to go sailing with him anymore. appar- ently David s sailing techniques need a little work. On the other hand, although David and Kris are avid concert-goers and appreciate many different types of music, it is unlikely that Kris will ever convince David to accompany her to another AC/DC concert, he said it was Painful . David Stockwell has been an important part of U.S. Sensor s extended family since our associa- tion with Richmar Electronics began in 1990. His understanding of our thermistor product line and its mar- kets along with his unparalleled commitment to customer service has been critical to U.S. Sensor s con- tinued success. We look forward to working with David for many years to come. Manufacturing Processes and Flow Charts, Quality Capabilities and Environmental Test Data, even an Engineering WebCam.these are just a few of the exciting additions recently introduced at performs in-house for various applica- tions. To assist our Application Engi- neers in providing a quick and viable solution to our customers needs, the U.S. Sensor WebCam is now on-line. The WebCam enables our engineers to provide a proposed design, visually, to engineers anywhere in the world, in Real Time . When speaking with one of our design engineers, customers world wide can log on to our WebCam and view special products, sketches or complete specifications which our en- gineer proposes for their particular ap- plication. New and informative material is added to our website every month, so book- mark www.ussensor.com and keep up- to-date on all we have to offer. www.ussensor.com.
