The smaller the RC time constant , the faster the assert/de-assert time, and vice versa. 1x RC = 125ns (typical) and 20x RC = 2µs (typical). The LOS/SD gain factor indicates the sensitivity of input levels. Devices with 4x LOS/SD gain are optimized to trigger a LOS/SD when input signals are as low as 3mVPP/5mVPP. Devices with 1x LOS/SD gain are recommended in applications where the LOS/SD is set to trigger at input levels higher than 10mVPP.
