Content	PCN9509 FLEX 8000A PRODUCT CHANGE NOTIFICATION Overview PCN 9504 notified you in May of 1995 that the FLEX 8000A product family was adding an additional source of supply on an 8” fab line using the same 0.6m process. Preliminary reliability data is now available on the 8” 0.6m process. In addition Altera is announcing an additional source of the 0.5m process available from the same 8” fabrication line as the 0.6m process. Implementation The new 0.5m 8” process can be identified by an 18 in the 4th and 5th character in the ten digit lot number. The EPF81500A will be the first 0.5m product on the 8” fab line and is scheduled for introduction in Jan. 1996. Reliability Update: Preliminary Reliability data is in the table below for the 0.6m process using 8” wafers. This is the same process used on the 6” fab line at the same site.
